Travertine is one of the most widely used stone surfaces for flooring. Whether it is polished or honed Hill Country Stone Care can make it look new. We inspect the floor to note any problem areas and create a custom plan to restore the beauty back into the stone. We fill voids / gaps in the stone, refinish the surface, and then apply an impregnating clear seal onto the stone to protect from future wear and tear.

Stone Care Color Enhancer / Sealer darkens and enhances the natural color of stone to provide a deeper, richer color that really draws the eye and makes it pop.

We pre-treat tile and grout with a sanitizing and degreasing solution. We then scrub the area to break down any soil or residue. We continue to pressure clean the tile and grout and then lift the dirt and grime off of the surface to restore its original look. After it is completely clean, we then apply a sealant to the grout to increase its lifespan and resistance to stains.

When possible and applicable, we can use a color matched epoxy to fill in the chip or breakage as needed. We continue the restoration by shaping the fill and ensure it hardens into shape. We then buff and polish, ensuring the repairs blend with the rest of the stone to the best of our ability.

Sometimes Saltillo can stain or even whiten overtime and with high foot traffic and the elements. We can revitalize it to its original, beautiful state. We can also apply staining agents and burnish them in with specialty brushes to create a natural and welcoming Saltillo stone surface.

This is a case-by-case service. Sometimes the surface is too far gone for a simple fix and will require extensive repairs / foundation work. If needed and applicable, we can grind down surfaces using diamond infused pads and then resurface the stone to match the surrounding area as closely as possible.
